Green Week is a weeklong happening September 30 – October 4 at MDC Eduadro Padron Campus focusing on sustainability, civic engagement, and Earth Literacy.  Daily events will include a campus ecology walk,  student presentations, a CLEO Climate Change 101 presentation, and mindful movement with Professor Michelle Grant Murray. The Green week is brought to you by Earth Ethics Institute, the Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy, and the IAC Y.E.S! Club.

2019 Eduardo J. Padrón Campus Faculty Learning Community and Symposium

The Fall 2019 Global Sustainability and Earth Literacy Studies (GSELS) faculty learning community at Miami Dade College Eduardo J. Padrón Campus is focusing on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger.  Participating faculty are integrating hunger and sustainability education into their curricula throughout the Fall term, culminating in a week-long, on-campus symposium December 2nd – 6th featuring student project presentations, guest speakers, special events, civic engagement opportunities and more.
