Gandhi Day of Service
Saturday, October 10, 2015
Organized by Professor Carlos González

9:am – Environmental Center (EC) Gate
Gandhi's work with non-violence.  Introduce the different student organizations and MDC departments participating.
Provide a schedule.
9:20--10:40 am  - Group will have 20 minutes to explore each station. 
Group 1-- Exploring the Visitor's Pavilion.
Focus on more sustainable approaches to living.
Group 2--Pine rockland tour.
Emphasize the uniqueness of this habitat.
Group 3--Tours
butterfly garden, lakeside, Thomas Berry reflection garden, and South Florida mosaic 

Group 4--Garden and animals.
The role of the EC in educating young people in the community.

11 am -- 11:50 am    Yoga by the garden pavilion.
Everyone who would like to participate can enjoy an all-levels yoga practice.
