This course
examines the economic, political, social, and spiritual context of
urban education. It also investigates educational philosophies that
suggest the use of classrooms as vehicles for student and societal
liberation and transformation.
Please Note: Faculty interested in pursuing doctoral
degrees in the areas of Higher Education and/or Adult and Human
Resource Development, can utilize credits earned in this certificate
as part of the course requirements for the doctor of education
degree, with approval from the advisor.
