Reclamation Project - an EEI Collaboration

Earth Ethics Institute is Partnering with the Museum of Science to bring artist Xavier Cortada's Reclamation Project and an understanding of mangrove ecology, eco-art and civic engagement to Miami Dade College students.

The Reclamation Project is a participatory eco-art project launched by Miami artist Xavier Cortada in 2006.  It explores our ability to coexist with the natural world.

Earth Ethics Institute will share this project with  MDC faculty and students at all eight campuses. We help find faculty and students to participate, bring speakers to the college to present about mangrove ecology, nature inspired by art, participatory art engagement and a host of other topics in classrooms.

EEI also assists with the art installations scheduled for our campuses.
